A true leap of faith that turned into the adventure of a lifetime. That is exactly what this project, adventure, and dream come true was. Mike Savas is the V.I.P guy when it comes to high-profile celebrity experiences. When the pandemic hit and the live-event industry flatlined, Mike decided to take this as an opportunity to pursue his mid-life awakening: Month in the Making. 12 countries, 12 unique skillsets, all within 12 months. That was the mission.

My M.I.M story started with Mike's Instagram story that was reposted by a mutual follower. Mike needed a creator that could channel his story across all platforms while keeping up with the pace of this adventure. I put my name in the hat and only 6 days later, I found myself on a plan to Costa Rica for chapter 1!
When I arrived in Costa Rica it was pedal to the metal and no signs of slowing down. Surf, film, edit, post, repeat! 24 hours and 7 days a week. I had never pushed my passion to its limits with this intensity. Posting every day and producing a full 20-minute episode kept me on my toes when they weren't gripped to a surfboard.

I was living my dream. Traveling, meeting new people, and telling the stories of everyone and everything I encountered. The family I encountered during this first chapter reassured me in my decision to take this leap of faith. I had landed on my feet and after the first weeks, I was running!โ

A month flew by faster than it had before and Mike and I were off to Colombia to take over the salsa stages in the salsa capital of the world, Cali, Colombia.โ

The pace continued to fly at the speed of light. Coming back at 2 am from the Salsa club meant zzz's and more cmd+z's if you know what I mean. Nonetheless, my abilities and passion only became more ingrained into who I am and who I want to be. The world of salsa did not fail to impressโ and beauty on the dance floor will never be the same in my eyes again.

The M.I.M. party kept on kickin' as Mike and I headed to Brazil with the mission to master the art of Capoeira. A Brazilian martial art combined with traditional dance, Capoeria proved to be way more than what meets the eye. Mike and I not only trained Capoeira. We lived it!

As the sole producer, director, editor, and publisher of all content for the first leg of this adventure hardened my skills as a 21st Century Digital Storyteller. I am returning from my time on this wild ride as a true Full-Stack Creator with the abilities, skills, and passion to carry creative content from production to publication.
